My grandfather passed away in 1975, so I never met him. But, we found a few of his carvings while cleaning out boxes one day!

Just a Swedish cutie (not made by my grandfather)
Labeled "1908" on the inside, this dog was one of the few things my grandfather brought from Sweden to the USA (he was a sailor for awhile before finally having the money to immigrate here).
These beauties, however...my grandfather made them as wall art! They have pegs on the back and go into some sort of peg board. They're pretty fantastic.
