Honestly, the leaves are the most pleasant-tasting mint we have raw, they don't have the toothpastey feel. They're also great for making a mint ice cream, yum.
Let me know when you'll be in Boston in August to see a better view sans fog! It's been a strange growing season this year, so we don't have as much as we usually do going on, but that's kind of par for the course talking to other area gardeners.
