Twin Cities Fun: Minnesota State Fair--take two!

Friends!  So good to see a Boston friend here in the Twin Cities!

It was so hot and muggy that night (dewpoint of 70!  arghghghg) - that I only managed ice cream.  This was the dairy barn's featured malt, vanilla with puffcorn and caramel sauce.  While tasty, it would have been far better served banana split style.  In a cup, the bottom layer of ice cream didn't mix at all with the top layer of puffcorn.

Cool toy that interfaces with cardboard tubes.

This may be one of my favorite photos from the fair...it's two of the Skyride gondolas lit up at night, next to some food stands and fairy lights in a tree.
