Downton Abbey!
Downton Abbey is everywhere. And I love it.
Vogue spreads with the lovely Mary, Edith, and Sybil...glorious.
And then after watching the first episode of the first season in Philly, the theme tune was still in my head, and my host looked at me imploring, "Why are you humming X-Files?"
There are no words.
Even Sesame Street is involved. So awesome.

OMG! Thank you so much for finally figuring out why the theme of Downton Abbey was so SciFi-ish. So, for the longest time, I thought it was close to The 4400 theme. They are similar because of the way that the visuals happen in the opening credits. But, I listened to both, and they didn't match. However, EVERY time I watch Downton Abbey, I keep thinking... "I KNOW this music!!" Thanks for finally solving my obsession and assuring I'm not (that) crazy!
Ha! Yes, it is a beguiling tune, and it's really interesting to hear the two of them layered together!
