A day in Vivey

On our second day in Montreaux, Sara and I went to the nearby town of Vivey (viv-eh) for a day of picnicking, swimming, eating delicious sweets, and walking through just about the cutest quiet town you ever did see.

Step one: enjoy delicious spread of black pepper goat cheese, bread, and meat on the grass.

Picnic!  (like the monster mosquito bites?  yeah, me too...they're from the castle night.  silly mosquitos.  also - I'm never traveling without rhuligel ever again).

Our swimming spot.  And yes, we changed from dresses into suits and back again without a single hitch!  I was quite proud of myself for making it through the whole process unscathed.

Truly a lovely spot for afternoon tea.

I know I took a picture of a parking lot.  But I just can't get over how gorgeous the view is here...in a parking lot.  Crazy.

Oh, you went to Poyet! That's one of my favorite lunchtime spots in Vevey.
