Look at that sky.  So pretty and blue!

St. James Park - I remarked to Sara that this looks exactly like the scene in 101 Dalmatians where Roger and Anita meet..and now, just looking it up, who was right?  This girl, ha.  The two of them (four of them) had their meet cute in St. James.

This feels straight out of the 1820s.

Words cannot describe how sad I am that Cadbury Flake isn't sold here in the US.  It's an absolute travesty.

Like the BBC series!  Sadly, the inside is essentially a slightly cooler and waaaaay more expensive version of Macy's.  No grand staircase, bummer.

Resting in Soho Park.  Not my cigarette butts, obviously..but it was hard to find a patch of grass without them.

Dinner was at Punjab London---we shared a delicious trio of saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, and a lamb (goat?) curry.

We went to Freud afterwards for drinks.

Pimm's Cup!

Me with...something.  I know it had elderflower in it, and another bitter liqueur, something I didn't recognize.  But lovely!

Our walk through London, day one (almost six miles!).

A - Vauxhall (where we stayed)
B - Buckingham Palace
C - Grovsenor Square
D - Selfridge's
E - Punjab
F - Covent Garden
