New York City Eats - Kossar's Bialys Doughnut Plant

I'm pretty sure that nothing is better than freshly made bagels.  They're just...perfect.  The contrast between the slightly chewy crust and the almost pillowy center is a reason to wake up early.

So, to kick off our wonderful day of jazz age party-ing, we hit up Kossar's Bialys and Doughnut Plant for some carbohydrate deliciousness.

Three monks giggled at us while eating their doughnuts.  It was kind of the best moment.

And I'll tell you a secret...we went there again Monday morning to have more doughnuts.  Because oh boy, they were great.  Seriously great.

Ah, such a great trip!  Anything with so much food, fun, laughter, champagne, hats, and 20s music, well, I daresay it should be repeated!

That outfit is adorable. I hope they open a location in SF!

For sure! We both had a lot of fun planning our outfits.

And yes! Artisan doughnuts should really be everywhere. We have Union Square Donuts here, and wow, delicious.
